Dev - OfBiz App Server Clustering.

I have an application using parts of the OfBiz framework.

We use the Entity Engine, Service Engine, Catalina Container... etc.

I would like to setup a cluster to do some testing in this environment.  
Is there a document that outlines the setup for this as it relates to
the Entity Engine & Service Engine and Catalina?

Is anyone using OfBiz in a distributed environment?  If so, how much of
a performance hit is it when you use the entity engine cache?
