Hi,
Today I got dragged to this link: http://developer.yahoo.net/yui/index.html I don't know if BSD Licensed components can be used in Ofbiz. Just wanted to bring to the knowledge of UI Gurus of Ofbiz, may take a look at it. Yeah, that looks pretty cool. I haven't looked at the other libraries that have been discussed on this list enough to compare them, but it looks like this has some nice tools. The BSD license is a great one for this too. We can certainly include it in OFBiz, even changed if need be. -David On Feb 27, 2006, at 9:56 AM, <[hidden email]> <amailx- [hidden email]> wrote: > Hi, > Today I got dragged to this link: > > http://developer.yahoo.net/yui/index.html > > > I don't know if BSD Licensed components can be used in Ofbiz. This one is really nice, especially TreeView, Sliders and Drag&Drop.
David, all, what do you think about extending Ofbiz Widgets with something like this? I think that such tools are highly welcomed by end-users. Yes, I think this would be something nice to support in certain parts of the widgets. The TreeView, for example, would be a nice addition for the Tree Widget. Some of the others we'd just have to see where they fit in... -David On Feb 27, 2006, at 11:18 AM, Oleg Kozyrev jr. wrote: > This one is really nice, especially TreeView, Sliders and Drag&Drop. > David, all, what do you think about extending Ofbiz Widgets with > something > like this? > > I think that such tools are highly welcomed by end-users. > > Oleg. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [hidden email] [mailto:dev- > [hidden email]] On > Behalf Of David E. This looks promising. Do you know if they have a grid component for
displaying records with sortable columns? Brett,
There doesn't seem to be anything like the Rico grid, but there does seem to be enough event control and the like to create something like the grid. It seems there's significantly more to this than the Rico package though. It's a shame no one has written an HTML editor using this stuff, that would 'kill two birds with one stone'. There again maybe we just haven't found it yet... -- Kind Regards Andrew Sykes <[hidden email]> Sykes Development Ltd http://www.sykesdevelopment.com _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.ofbiz.org/mailman/listinfo/dev |
