Discussion: BPM (Activity.org) and OFBiz

hans_bakker
Participants needed!

We are currently looking using an open source BPM system for OFBiz
implementations.
Looks like activity.org is the best option.

Anybody else going in this direction? lets join efforts....

Hi Rong,

The first work is integration, to create a hot-deploy component
containing the system and create an interface to OFBiz similar to
interface to the he workflow engine 'shark' which was integrated
earlier....Perhaps we can use some of that code.

Activiti already has an interface to apache Camel which could ease the
integration with existing systems.

An introduction to BPMS you can find here:

Hans,

Thanks providing a link to a download of the book. But downloading this
from that website is illegal, as the book is a copyrighted product.

The book can be bought from e.g Amazon.com, see
http://www.amazon.com/Activiti-Action-Executable-business-processes/dp/1617290122

But there might be other online resellers as well.

Best regards,

Pierre Smits
