Gift Certificate

Hello,

I am using Ofbiz revision 691692. Could anyone tell me if Gift
Certificate is implemented in that version or maybe in a newer one?
Actually, is the service "createGiftCertificate" really used?

Any detailed description of using gift certificates would be really
appreciated.

Not sure it's what you are looking for but you could have a look into DemoStoreGiftCertificateSettings.xml

put in createGiftCertificate
it shows what uses it.
there is no UI to make a gift certificate, just to use it.
the only way to put a gift certificate is through webtools.
