Help Needed to move our new website live

Hi All

Thanks to everyone for your feedback on the new-look website. Now the next step is that we need to look at moving it live, so I am looking for some help as I have no idea how to change it over from the old site.

Any volunteers willing to help me with this?

We already have a Jira open that we can use:

Hi Sharan,

We are using *svnpubsub <https://www.apache.org/dev/project-site.html> *tools
to publish ofbiz website.
So we need to move http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/branches/
ofbiz-new-website/ to http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/site/ and it
should work.

We can rename http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/site/ to old-site for
reference and them can copy some artefacts from old_site to new site
like doap_OFBiz.rdf
, pmc, svn folder etc.

Please share your thought on this. Others opinions ?

Hi Deepak

OK great! That sounds good to me and is one of the approved ASF ways to
manage it :-)

I think re-naming the old site is a good idea because we might need to
refer back to it for reference as the new site doesn't include
everything from the old site. What about timing? Does the changeover
need to be done at the when no-one is using the site or can it be done
any time?

I am also renaming some html file to maintain search engine indexed webpage
url.
Like mailinglists.html to mailing-lists.html etc.

Once these done will update the site.
