Step 1: Sign in to the Office 365 Security & Compliance Center
1. Go to the Office 365 Security & Compliance Center (https://protection.office.com) and sign in using your Office 365 administrator credentials.

Step 2: Create a New Content Search
1. In the Security & Compliance Center, navigate to "Search & Investigation" and select "Content search."
2. Click on the "New search" button to create a new content search.

Step 3: Configure the Content Search
1. In the "Name" field, enter a name for your search to identify it later.
2. In the "Keywords and conditions" section, you can specify any specific keywords or conditions to narrow down the search if needed.
3. In the "Locations" section, select "Specific locations" and then choose "Exchange" under "Select locations."
4. In the "In-place hold and litigation hold settings" section, make sure to enable the "Enable de-duplication" option to eliminate duplicate items from the search results.

If you want to backup Outlook Exchange emails locally, you can have it done automatically using the AutoArchive feature: File > Options > Advanced > AutoArchive > AutoArchive Settings. Alternatively, you can export your emails to a . pst file, and restore it later by importing.
