Export to a PST File:
Lotus Notes does not directly export to PST format, which is used by Outlook. To convert the Lotus Notes archive to a PST file, you can use a third-party tool designed for this purpose. Various commercial tools are available for Lotus Notes to Outlook migration, such as Kernel for Lotus Notes to Outlook, SysTools Export Notes, or Stellar Converter for NSF.
Follow Tool Instructions:
Install and run the chosen tool, and follow the instructions provided by the tool to export the Lotus Notes archive to a PST file.
Step 2: Import PST File into Outlook:
Open Outlook:
Ensure that you have Microsoft Outlook installed on your computer.
Create a New Outlook Profile (if necessary):
If you are using Outlook for the first time or want to keep Lotus Notes and Outlook data separate, you can create a new Outlook profile.
Import PST File:
In Outlook, go to "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export."
Choose "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."
Select "Outlook Data File (.pst)" and click "Next."
Browse and select the PST file exported from Lotus Notes.
Choose the destination folder in your Outlook profile to import the data. You can select the root folder to import everything.
Complete the Import:
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the import process.
