Step 1: Install Mozilla Thunderbird
Download and Install Thunderbird:
Download Mozilla Thunderbird from the official website and install it on your computer.
Set Up a New Email Account:
Open Thunderbird and set up a new email account. You can use a temporary email account or one that you don't actively use for this purpose.
Step 2: Add Gmail Account to Thunderbird
Configure Gmail in Thunderbird:
In Thunderbird, go to "File" > "New" > "Existing Mail Account."
Enter your name, Gmail email address, and password. Click "Continue."
Choose IMAP:
Thunderbird will attempt to configure the email account automatically. If not, choose "Manual config" and select IMAP. Set the incoming server to "imap.gmail.com" and the outgoing server to "smtp.gmail.com."
Verify Configuration:
Click "Re-test" to verify the configuration. Once successful, click "Done."
Step 3: Import PST into Thunderbird
Install ImportExportTools Add-on:
In Thunderbird, go to "Tools" > "Add-ons."
Search for "ImportExportTools" and install the add-on.
Import PST:
Open Thunderbird and create a new folder to import the PST file into.
Right-click on the new folder, go to "ImportExportTools," and select "Import Messages."
Choose the Source:
Select "Import a single file," click "Next," and choose "Microsoft Outlook."
Select PST File:
Browse and select the Outlook PST file you want to import.
Choose the Import Option:
Select the import options based on your preferences.
Start Import:
Click "OK" to start the import process.
Step 4: Sync Thunderbird with Gmail
Move Emails to Gmail:
In Thunderbird, move the emails from the imported folder to your Gmail account.
Synchronize with Gmail:
Allow Thunderbird to synchronize with Gmail. It may take some time to upload the emails.
Step 5: Access Gmail
Access Gmail:
Open your Gmail account in a web browser.
Verify Emails:
Verify that the emails have been successfully imported into your Gmail account.
