All, we've got the initial version of the new release branch demo up on the ofbiz server - reachable at http://demo904.ofbiz.org/ecommerce/ and https://demo904.ofbiz.org/catalog/ .
The branch builds and logs will be begin to become visible at http://build.ofbiz.org and http://log.ofbiz.org within the next two days . Please let me know if you see things that are not looking right as far as the deployment goes and I'll get them rectified as soon as possible. Thanks Tim,
I just reiterate my request about having the error.log in the archives at http://log.ofbiz.org ;o) Cheers Jacques From: "Tim Ruppert" <[hidden email]> > All, we've got the initial version of the new release branch demo up on the ofbiz server - reachable at > http://demo904.ofbiz.org/ecommerce/ and https://demo904.ofbiz.org/catalog/ . > > The branch builds and logs will be begin to become visible at http://build.ofbiz.org and http://log.ofbiz.org within the next two > days . As it says below you don't need to reiterate it - it will happen within the next two days :) Starting to work on it now - will let everyone know when it's ready to go.

Hi Tim,
To be sure (because I already asked this and still don't see any "error.log" file in the archive) it's about runtime\logs\error.log Sorry to insist, if it was already clear for you simply ignore this message Thanks Jacques From: "Tim Ruppert" <[hidden email]> > As it says below you don't need to reiterate it - it will happen within the next two days :) Starting to work on it now - will > let everyone know when it's ready to go. > > Cheers, > Tim > -- > Tim Ruppert > HotWax Media > http://www.hotwaxmedia.com > > o:801.649.6594 > f:801.649.6595 > > ----- "Jacques Le Roux" <[hidden email]> wrote: > >> Thanks Tim, >> >> I just reiterate my request about having the error.log in the archives >> at http://log.ofbiz.org ;o) >> >> Cheers >> >> Jacques >> >> From: "Tim Ruppert" <[hidden email]> >> > All, we've got the initial version of the new release branch demo up >> on the ofbiz server - reachable at >> > http://demo904.ofbiz.org/ecommerce/ and >> https://demo904.ofbiz.org/catalog/ . >> > >> > The branch builds and logs will be begin to become visible at >> http://build.ofbiz.org and http://log.ofbiz.org within the next two >> > days . I'm not sure I totally get what you're saying, but let me clarify. There is a page here at http://log.ofbiz.org - which has zipped up logs from the previous days OFBiz trunk and rel4.0 nightly builds. I am in the process of updating the information so that this URL will support trunk, rel4.0, rel9.04 as well as all of their archives. I will likely be adding another page to each of the sites - build and log - to have the branches with their archives - while leaving the most current logs up on the index page for trunk, rel4.0 and rel9.04. Sound like a plan to you?

Sound like a plan to you? Yes, no problems for that. It's just that in about runtime\logs directory you have a file name "error.log". Jacques, as you've seen the zip updates of these logs will be done today likely. I also wanted to let everyone know that build and log are now updated to have links to the new rel9.04 information as well. There are still some kinks to work out - which we'll do over the weekend - but we're getting close.
Once this is up for Monday, I'm going to take a look at putting together some more information for the users on these build and log pages. I think they need a bit more to thoroughly cover what's going on - and deal with the interaction between the trunk, the branches and the archives. Any suggestions are always helpful!
