Latest Version

Brendan Vogt
Hi,

Do I still download the latest version here:

./ofbiz/branches/release4.0

I always downloaded the previous version from trunk.

I'm looking for the very latest, not just version 4 but all the changes and
updates that you guys did yesterday, and right up to the this email being
sent.

Thanks

Brendan

Re: Latest Version

Brendan,

Trunk is always latest code. It gets updated very frequently and may not
be stable at all the times. Version branch (e.g version 4) may not have
all the latest features but more stable and well tested.

Thanks,

Raj

Trunk - the absolute latest
Version 4.0 branch - a snapshot of the trunk from a couple of months ago and
then updated fairly regularly with bugfixes but no new features

Re: Latest Version

Scott Gray
type "svn info" in the main ofbiz directory, the url will either end with
ofbiz/trunk for the trunk or ofbiz/branches/release4.0 for the 4.0 branch

Yes, and on the UI side, to distinguish between release and trunk look a the footer on any page.
If it's release you will see it, else nothing special (no version mention, we should put something here, one day...)

Considering what OFBIZ does?  Have you seen the size for any other ERP system?
It's more then just a webstore.
