Here are the steps to manually migrate from Live Exchange to Office 365:

Verify Office 365 subscription: Before you start the migration process, make sure you have a valid Office 365 subscription and necessary admin credentials.

Verify and prepare the source environment: Check and verify the Exchange server version, size of the mailbox database, and other requirements for the migration. Also, create a migration endpoint on the Office 365 admin center to establish a connection between Exchange and Office 365.

Create and assign migration batches: Create migration batches and add users to it, assign licenses, and start the migration process. You can also specify the migration settings, such as the date range and the migration priority.

Monitor and validate the migration: Monitor the migration progress using the Office 365 admin center and validate the migration results. You can also troubleshoot any errors that occur during the migration process.

Complete the migration: After the migration is complete, finalize the process by decommissioning the source Exchange server, updating the DNS records, and verifying the mailbox access for the migrated users.

It is important to note that manual migration can be a time-consuming and complex process, and it is recommended to use third-party tools or services for a more streamlined and efficient migration. Additionally, it is highly recommended to perform a backup of the Exchange database before starting the migration process to ensure data integrity and availability.

Greetings,
Will
