Hello all,
We have a situation where the business borrow money from the investors and then the business returns the money to the investors when the project they helped financing is done. How can I input this in ofbiz in a way such that this money shows up in the reports? -- Bahaaldin Al-amood IQ Tel: +964 (0) 780 926 2103 US tel: 540 632 1388 email: [hidden email] Skype ID: bahaa.alamood Arc Digital Solutions and Consultancy www.arcdsc.com This message contains information that may be confidential and privileged to Arc digital Solutions and Consultancy, its partners, or customers. Hi Bahaa,
you can record them with manually entered accounting transactions. The screen to use is the following: https://demo-stable.ofbiz.apache.org/accounting/control/newAcctgTrans? organizationPartyId=Company Enter the information for the header (you can leave most of the fields blank) and then hit the "create" button; in the next screen you will create Debit and Credit entries for the accounts you want to post to: you will probably want to use one liability account for the Credit (to represent the amount your company owe to the investor) and a cash/bank account for the Debit (to represent the money received from the investor). I hope it helps, Jacopo On Sun, Mar 12, 2017 at 2:18 PM, Bahaa Alamood < [hidden email]> wrote: > Hello all, > > We have a situation where the business borrow money from the investors and > then the business returns the money to the investors when the project they > helped financing is done.
