There is pretty good functionality in OFBiz for this. Check out the
Advanced Search link under the keyword box on the left side in
ecommerce. OFBiz supports parametric search and various other things.
For even more searching stuff that you wouldn't show to customers,
check out the advanced search in the catalog manager.
There really is pretty good functionality in there, but it is also
complex. I recommend some research or some paid support to get going
with it.
