Hi All
Myself and Hans are hoping to meetup in Amsterdam, probably sometime during the first week of June. Would anyone else be interested in joining us? Thanks Sharan |
Hi Sharan,
Interesting, I have just a train travel of 7 hours to Amsterdam. Can you give me where approximatively ? Hi,
Sharan and me are looking to have a mini conference in the Netherlands the first week of June, for sharing ideas on the following subjects related to marketing and the implementation of OFBiz: 1. How to do an agile implementation process. 2. How to do continuous business improvement with BPM as preparation for ERP 3. How to demo the OFBiz system to potential customers. 4. How to do marketing for OFBiz in western Europe. We will present the GrowERP (http://www.growerp.com) as an add-on to OFBiz for the smaller companies. Let me know what you think. Hans,
Very good idea and initiative. More needed now that the project & agile are under the trunk. Hence BPM not part of the frame but very important in the flow of processes. Marketing efforts needs to continue for a large adoption of this great product vs the highly competitive cloud erp out there. Great to know that social initiative is now part of ofbiz -- Twitter (others...FB, LN and G+).... Hans,
That is perfect. Great for target users and consultants now that the SaaS is available. Maybe you could look at LiveStream to spread your 'views and services'. regards, Fernando Le 2015-04-28 02:07, Hans Bakker a écrit : > Thank you Fernando, > > I just created a linkedin post on the subject at: > https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/mini-open-source-erp-ofbizgrowerp-conference-western-europe-bakker > > Let me know your thoughts... > > Regards, > Hans > > On 28/04/15 00:00, FGomez wrote: >> Hans, >> >> Very good idea and initiative. >> More needed now that the project & agile are under the trunk. A latest update on the conference:
There, is a possibility that our largest customer from the UK will tell how he is using OFBiz throughout his company. We will decide May 5th 2015, so the next few days if there is enough interest. So let us know at [hidden email] if you intend to attend. It looks like it is too early for this kind of event.
I am currently setting up partnerships with small business consulting companies in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands and gave this a try to extend it into a small conference. I went to the ApacheCon in Austin in the hope to do the same in the US. However you have to realize that ApacheCon is mostly for and by Apache people, not many other people will attend. This European conference was worth a try, just to attract people outside of the Apache foundation, will try again next year.
