I'll take out time and figure this thing out in details.
 
Jacques, regarding J2EE architecture I think the best of the books will be,
One recomended in Ofbiz documentation, J2EE Core Patterns.
 
Another one is available at The Serverside, J2EE Architects Handbook,
 
and J2EE and XML development,
