[OFBiz] Users - Suppress message

Ashish Hareet
The general file that renders the messages is called "messages.ftl" & it resides here -
OFBIZ_HOME\framework\common\webcommon\includes. You might wanna check in the screen-defs
to make sure this is the one...

You could either remove it from your screen def or maybe perform some logic in this file
to not render some messages.

Hello,
I have searched and searched but I'm beaten:

When you check out, eventually the customer has to enter name, phone +
email on custsettings.ftl.
Once he has done so successfully, he is taken to the next screen where
the following success message appears at the top:
"Party Contact Mechanism successfully created"

This messge is generated in
application/script/org/ofbiz/party/contactPartyContactMechServices.xml

How can I suppress this message? (It's pretty meaningless to the
customer, it's not even localized and in my mind it's sufficient to have
reached the next screen successfully).

Where is this message triggered? How can I get rid of the darned thing?

The messages are rendered in "messages.ftl" right enough.

But I still can't see where this particular message orginates.
I tried commenting the message out in
application/script/org/ofbiz/party/contactPartyContactMechServices.xml
just to see what happens: and then a default message is displayed
indicating successful operation.
I think "Party Contact Mechanism successfully created" relates to the
home phone having been created.
