Open in Eclipse and using SQL Server?

Katie Qiu-2
Hi,

I'm kind of new to OFbiz program. With your kind help, I was able to have
the program running with demo data on my VPS at
https://www.polluniverse.com/ecommerce/control/main Thank you!

Now I'm trying to do two things (If you have better suggestions what to do
next, please let me know)

1.       Open the program in Eclipse and add modifications

2.       Connect the program to Microsoft SQL Server instead of using the
demo data.

Could you please provide some information and links so I can continue to the
next steps?

Thanks

Katie

RE: Open in Eclipse and using SQL Server?

Katie Qiu-2
Hi,

I'm trying to import 17.12.06 to Eclipse by following the steps at page
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/Eclipse+Tips

On the pag, Session Importing OFBiz from the filesystem into Eclipse, it
mention run "gradlew eclipse" on command line as shown below, could you let
me which folder I need to be to run the command on the Command Prompt page.
I have tried several folders, but didn't work.
....
First you need to generate the ".project" file to allow Eclipse to
automatically configure the project for you. For that simply run "gradlew
eclipse" on the command line.

Thanks
Katie
