Order Items are associated with neither requirements nor productions runs created by mrp events of type sales order shipment

Christian Carlow-OFBizzer
Order Items are missing from Order -> Requirement -> Orders tab of
requirements created by MRP events of type Sales order shipment.
Because they are missing, production runs created by requirements when
approved also lack order item association.  After approving the
requirement, I expected to see the production run created linked to
order that caused its creation such as what happens for Configurable
Goods and Marketing Packages.  Is there a reason order item associations
to requirements and production runs created by mrp events should not be
implemented in a similar manner as those product types?

HI Christian,

In order to help me and others understand, could you elaborate with which
product you are trying to achieve this? Is this related to a product in the
demo data set?

Also, With which products did you create the orders for the marketing
packages and/or the configurable goods, that led to the creation of the
requirements?

It might help understanding the use case.

Best regards,

Pierre Smits

Re: Order Items are associated with neither requirements nor productions runs created by mrp events of type sales order shipment

Hey Pierre,

This is not related to any demo data.  I just created my own products of
those types and orders for them.  The marketing packages and
configurable goods don't lead to the creation of requirements; they only
lead to creation of production runs which are also linked to orders.
Requirements are created by the MRP for orders of route linked
products.  Production runs are created by those MRP created requirements
once approved.  The problem is that the production runs aren't linked to
the order like they are for the marketing package and configurable
goods.  It seems the orders should be linked to the requirements (appear
at Order->Requirements->Orders) to provide the data for linking the
production runs to the order.

Also some times while creating production it is getting default task not
the task we created in Routing task assigned with routing.  For example :
in BOM i created a Table Routing with task as 1. Cut wood to length 2. Nail
wood 3. Varnish it E.T.C ...

But when i am creating production with the routing i created ....
production has came with only one routing task called default routing task.
Why it  is taking default routing task.
It cannot satisfy my business requirement.

Swapnil Shah
Arjun,

You may like to check whether manufactured good (Table) still linked with
Default routing (to which Default routing task is associated) or to the
desired ‘Table Routing’.

Thanks & Regards,

Swapnil Shah
