I think it is time to publish a new release out of 16.11 branch; the last
(and first) was released on November 2016. What do you think? Jacopo |
- All tests pass on my computer
- Smoke tests on the system show normal operation across the accounting screens and webtools. - I got an error on https://localhost:8443/accounting/control/PaymentAcctgTransEntriesPdf?paymentId=8003 HTTP 500, but I believe it also existed on the first release. Given that we also made a critical correction on the StartupControlPanel (updating server state on start) I would say we need to go ahead and make this release ASAP. Hi Jacopo,
I think a new release is a good idea! Taher gave his +1 so I guess there are no open issues regarding the rafactoring which could go to a new release shortly. To all: do we have any work in progress open which can be finished soon and go to the new release? I'd like to split the tools folder, I planned it for months but delayed :/
It's of course not blocking and I have nothing important else pending. Ah, I'd like to see why the Birt orders reports have disappeared https://s.apache.org/HUdV Jacques Le 10/05/2017 à 08:24, Jacopo Cappellato a écrit : > I think it is time to publish a new release out of 16.11 branch; the last > (and first) was released on November 2016. > > What do you think? > > Jacopo > |

I split the tools with OFBIZ-9256
So I have nothing else important pending and a new release is OK with me Jacques Le 11/05/2017 à 11:45, Jacques Le Roux a écrit : > I'd like to split the tools folder, I planned it for months but delayed :/ > > It's of course not blocking and I have nothing important else pending. > > Ah, I'd like to see why the Birt orders reports have disappeared https://s.apache.org/HUdV > > Jacques > > > Le 10/05/2017 à 08:24, Jacopo Cappellato a écrit : >> I think it is time to publish a new release out of 16.11 branch; the last >> (and first) was released on November 2016. >> >> What do you think? >> >> Jacopo >> > > |
ok, great, I am preparing the release files for the vote.
The only remaining topic we should discuss is if we should keep the Gradle Wrapper jar as we did before (while we wait for a final answer from Legal) or if we prefer to remove it from the release and add a mention to the README file. I'd say that as long as no clear decision has been taken at LEGAL-288 we can continue as is.
