Ew. We here at Brainfood do not like this. Most imporantly, Erik, who did a bunch of design on tomahawk, thinks this is a poor change. |
Adam,
I know how much Erik has worked on tomahawk. We worked together chatting and exchanging jpgs back and forth from Napoli and Dallas. Please fill free to improve it. Just keep the login screenlet very different from the standard ones. -Bruno 2010/11/3 Adam Heath <[hidden email]> > On 11/01/2010 03:04 PM, [hidden email] wrote: > >> Author: buscob >> Date: Mon Nov 1 20:04:13 2010 >> New Revision: 1029816 >> >> URL: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1029816&view=rev >> Log: >> Softer background image for login screenlet >> >> Modified: >> ofbiz/trunk/themes/tomahawk/webapp/tomahawk/images/login_bkgd.jpg >> >> Modified: >> ofbiz/trunk/themes/tomahawk/webapp/tomahawk/images/login_bkgd.jpg >> URL: >> http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/ofbiz/trunk/themes/tomahawk/webapp/tomahawk/images/login_bkgd.jpg?rev=1029816&r1=1029815&r2=1029816&view=diff >> >> ============================================================================== >> Binary files - no diff available. >> > > Ew. That's the issue, we'd like to see it removed. Either all gray boxes should have the same background image pattern, or none should. |

Having a login screen somehow different from the other screens is quite
standard. Simply search for "login screen" in google images and you will notice that while the user is in front of the login page he will not see anything of the layout he will have after being logged in. This is my reason to leave how it is now. No others. What is yours? -Bruno 2010/11/3 Adam Heath <[hidden email]> > On 11/03/2010 01:03 PM, Bruno Busco wrote: > >> Adam, >> I know how much Erik has worked on tomahawk. >> We worked together chatting and exchanging jpgs back and forth from Napoli >> and Dallas. >> >> Please fill free to improve it. >> Just keep the login screenlet very different from the standard ones. >> > > That's the issue, we'd like to see it removed. The login box does seem overly bright to me, it doesn't feel like it fits with the rest of the theme. My 2 cents anyway.
