Users - trying to install Apache James

puranisank

Trying to perform email services using Apache James.
So downloaded the zip file "james-2.2.0" from the link "http://james.apache.org/download.cgi". Also downloaded the zip files "javamail-1_4" and "jaf-1_1-fr" as said in the link "http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-james1.html".

I extracted the files in the corresponding folders.
I run the batch file in bin directory of James. I am getting the following info:

"Using PHOENIX_HOME:  D:\apachejames\james-2.2.0
Using PHOENIX_TMPDIR: D:\apachejames\james-2.2.0\temp
Using JAVA_HOME:      c:\j2sdk1.4.2_06

Phoenix 4.0.1

James 2.2.0
Remote Manager Service started plain:4555
POP3 Service started plain:110
SMTP Service started plain:25
NNTP Service started plain:119
Fetch POP Disabled
FetchMail Disabled "

Then I shutdown the server using "ctrl+c".
But I could not find the config.xml file after shutdown.

Could anyone help me in this.

Thanks and regards
Purani

Purani,

The config file for JAMES is located at...
<JAMES_HOME>/apps/james/SAR-INF/config.xml
