Warehouse application for handheld

Jacopo Cappellato
What about adding the new simple warehouse application for handheld
devices (simplified html screens for warehouse operation) to the product
component?

Here is the link to the Jira issue:

http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-226

The work has been initially contributed by Daniel Goodwin, reviewed by
me, and improved by Ray Barlow (that seems interested in continuing this
effort).
I too could do some work in my poor spare time :-( but I'd bet that
others would be interested in it.

If you are ok I'll take care of reviewing and adding it to the
repository, and also of integrating new future contributions.

Jacopo,

I think this is just fine and would work well as a webapp inside the
product component.

I was also intending to work on this, but if you have started then I
will wait, let me know what you want to do.

I'm thankful that Daniel has contributed his work to clear up the
legalities but from the quick look I took he hasn't used the latest
version so work is required again to merge in my updates, and possibly
updates I've done to keep in line with the latest code base etc.

Re: Warehouse application for handheld

Jacopo Cappellato
Ray,

I'm not currently working on the component; and about the files Daniel
committed, this is a way to contribute all his work under the ASL.
So, now, I think that the best way to go, if you agree, is this: you can
attach to the Jira issue a zip file containing the whole component
(Daniel's files plus your changes with the new Apache headers) and we
will review and commit it.

Does it make sense?

Jacopo

Ray Barlow
That's fine just didn't want to double the work, I'll try and get back
with it asap.
