Hi OFBiz Dev,
this is the script for testing Apache OFBiz automatically. If you see any strange errors, please reply to this email or post the issue to this list, thank you very much. If you want to use this script on your own for testing Apache OFBiz, feel free to ask me for it. ------------------------------ The script was run on: SunOS moloch-05.moloch-rz 5.10 Generic_118833-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60 Installed JDK: java version "1.5.0_06" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing) Started at: Sun Oct 8 21:56:30 CEST 2006 ------------------------------ Starting SVN Update... success Starting refresh... success Starting run-install-seed... success Starting run-tests... success ------------------------------ Finished at: Sun Oct 8 22:32:53 CEST 2006 The log files are availiable here: http://www.der-moloch.de/files/ofbiz-ml/build-logs/2006-10-08_refresh.log.gz http://www.der-moloch.de/files/ofbiz-ml/build-logs/2006-10-08_run-install-seed.log.gz http://www.der-moloch.de/files/ofbiz-ml/build-logs/2006-10-08_run-tests.log.gz http://www.der-moloch.de/files/ofbiz-ml/build-logs/2006-10-08_svn.log.gz ------------------------------ Best regards, Fabian Gorsler. |
Fabian,
This is very helpful, but can I make two suggestions: 1. Can you just publish a summary of your weekly build somewhere? 2. Can you run your weekly build on Tuesday or Wednesday, because I already do one on Friday. Spacing them apart should give us better test coverage. Hi Si,
> 1. Can you just publish a summary of your weekly build somewhere? how would you like the summary? Like the mail sent to this list, but as a web page? Tell me your idea. :) Changing the message to a simple HTML page with some CSS would take just ten minutes. > 2. I'll run the script on each Tuesday, starting with the next week. Best regards, Fabian. |
Fabian,
I think it would be nice just to get a little message on the mailing list saying "No errors" (always the best!) or "#@!&^ failed" and then a link to see the log messages, but not necessarily zipped, as that takes longer to unzip and then view. The log files are pretty small, aren't they? Thanks so much for doing this! On Oct 11, 2006, at 11:08 AM, Fabian Gorsler wrote: > Hi Si, > >> 1. Hi Si,
no problem. This idea sounds nice. Does your browser not show the gzipped files as plain text? Firefox deflates them automatically so I thought the space on the server could be saved (the "run-install"-log is gzipped about 67 kb, unzipped nearly 800 kb big). I'd like to compress those files in future, too. If more people have problems with their browser, I'll write a little wrapper in PHP for decompressing those files on the fly. I'm going to apply all changes to the reporting-script tomorrow. I'd like to hear your opinion. :) Best regards, Fabian. |
