collecting brandnames

Hello,

Can anyone give me a hint how and with which entity methods or which
delegator methods i can list the distinct brandnames of products in a
category of products?

You can build a new set of screens and forms to create an overview of your
brand names by incorporating distict="true" in the entity-condition.

Yes ok , but i need to do it in java because it will feed an xml file towards a ajax connection.
