hardware and memory requirements

Hi all,

What are the miminum hardware and memory requirements (e.g. java heap space
settings) for ofbiz to run smoothly with tomcat5..

I have:
Machine 1 (running tomcat - and ofbiz)
tomcat 5.5.26
mysql-connector-java-5.1.5-bin.jar

Machine 2:
mysql 5.0.54

ofbiz has it own embedded tomcat.
http://docs.ofbiz.org/display/OFBTECH/Tomcat
might help if you want to use your tomcat.
if you read the startofbiz.sh it will tell you about memory usage.
this needs to be a dedicated server.
