Hi everyone, and thank you for the efforts.

I am not sure why exactly are we integrating birt web viewer in the first place? BIRT is already integrated with our screens, forms, and multiple different report outputs including HTML and PDF. The web viewer is just another user interface to generate BIRT reports from. I see no need to introduce it in OFBiz.

For example, if you go to eclipse's website to review the definition of the web viewer, you will find the following "overview" section of the web viewer:

The Web Viewer can be used to generate and render reports, and also supports more interactive features such as table of contents, exporting report content to several formats, client and server side printing, as well as report pagination.�The features available will depend on what servlet mapping is used, the settings available in the web.xml file and what values are passed as parameters.
