[jira] Created: (OFBIZ-145) Supplier(Vendor) import export

Nicolas Malin (Jira)
Supplier(Vendor) import export
------------------------------

                 Key: OFBIZ-145
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-145
Project: OFBiz (The Open for Business Project)
          Issue Type: New Feature
            Reporter: BJ Freeman

This is a seperate appliation that provides the basic import and export conversion from supplier info to ofbiz.
if added to the project it may end up somewhere else, but this way it can be added and linked to as desired.

I will be adding the core then seperate suppliers I deal with:
Salco-ezdropshipper.com (web interface)
PSA FTP to there site http://psabrowse.com/
KOEN books FTP to there site (BISAC format) http://www.koen.com/
BFN (web) http://www.bnfusa.com
SMC (web) http://www.smcorp.com/
Taylor books (FTP-hosted by ofbiz) (EDI proprietary) http://www.btol.com/

Note the AS2 and EDI Implementations are seperate appliations.
feel free to add any suppliers you deal with.

BJ Freeman commented on OFBIZ-145:

I agree, I was hoping to make the configuration of each of the services, thru the UI, so they could be done like the email services.
any comments on that?

How those services are configured or deployed would depend on the use case for each. Configuring on the store might make sense, but just adding a scheduled service to the job sandbox might also make sense...
