David E. Jones commented on OFBIZ-157: -------------------------------------- In general all patches submitted with new files and all new files attached to an issue should have the ASL header in place to make it clear. We should make a practice of rejecting new files without the header and just ask the contributor to re-submit the patch with the proper header, explaining where they can get it and such (ie the APACHE2_HEADERS file). You used some RBE options that I have experienced are no good except if you were sure that this options will always be used (which is not sure as not everybody is using *and will be using RBE in the future*...) . align equal signs : because if you add a new label longuer than existing ones you will get a lot of false modifications . blank around equal signs : same problem than above Apart these notes, it seems OK to me (but I don't know Spanish ;o) I prefer to wait a PMC member advice here... I got a lot of conflicts when applying the last patch. Actually only 5 files are not conflicted. As you now, I'm kind of new on this patch stuff because when I use to work with neogia, I had my own versión of the software and my modifications where very specific, it would be a great help for me if you could advice me about how to publish my patch files so we can avoid the conflicts between them. I continue working on the Accountig component translation and now I have a 50% of advance, Jacques please give me 3 days before to close this issue to post the my finished and final contribution, of course considering all your previous observations (ASL2, Format, etc.). Now I've all the necesary tools to work faster with the Eclipse IDE, Subclipse and RBE, before I was workig only with VIM as a plain text editor. Only last one question, I saw en RBE many entries wich doesn't have entries within the default english translation file and yes for other languages like french (for instance AccountingQuantity), are they an error with the default english file or translated files? I suppose they are old and removed entries wich still remains in translated files and i can ommit them, is it true? Take all the time you need. I did not find any other instance of AccountingQuantity in all OFBiz files (hence no use at all). But I found 15 in Neogia. So I conclude that this exemple is surely not the only one in french properties files in OFBiz. In general I'd say that as default (English) is the most OFBiz used language we should take it as reference.
