I am also working on Competitors & Partners functionality.I will upload the patch in couple of days.
I am giving some more functionality to this by adding Competitor's product comparison, Partner's agreement etc.

In this patch, we have implemented Competitors & Partners functionality in SFA.

In Competitors, user can create competitors,find a particular competitor, create competitor's product and compare our products with them.User can also make a search for competitor's product.

In partners, user can create partners, find a particular partner and create aggreement with partner. User can also make a search for partners agreemetns.

Hi Vikas,
We would like to elaborate on the functionality of  Competitors & Partners. Hope this will help you in review.
Compertitors & Partners has been divided in two parts viz. *Compertitors & Partners.*

In *Compertitors*, A competitor can be created which is a PartyGroup. Its role type will be set as "COMPETITOR".
We can have some products associated with that competitors as *"Competitor Product"*. While creating a Competitor's product, we can associate it with a product in our catalog, as "Our Product", which can be later compared.
Our product & Competitor product can be compared by their price in *Compare Product.*

In *Partners*, A partner can be created which is a PartyGroup. Its role type will be set as "PARTNER".
We can create *Agreements* with partners. For this we have used the existing functionality for Agreement in Accounting.

Is this work related to http://docs.ofbiz.org/download/attachments/4008/IfCrmPlanEstimate.pdf?version=1 ?

For instance I don't see SalesOpportunityCompetitor entity and nothing about ths screens suggested in the document :
* The screens for Competitor would include: Competitor Home, Accounts, Opportunities.
* The screens for Partner would include: Partner Home, Accounts.

On the other hand,I agree that there is not much about partner and competitor in this document as, at this time, this part was considered as a lower priority. So I think this work is of value even if it's not totally related with what was planned in this document.

Also please use permission services in CompetitorPartnerServices.xml (with relevant permission group data to be created).
