The Request which is called for showing the variants, is a 'normal controller' call. That means that the whole oage will be reloaded. What we need is an Ajax call which updates only the lookup window. This problem will occur everytime we have a link in the layer that calls a request from the controller. I have introduced the possibility to use a lookup without a field, ie only a label and a butto (for that simply size the lookup to 0). So I'd like use it in place of the normal button. Note that the lookups also use the controller but we have already handled that. Though I'm not quite sure why sometimes it works for layered lookups and sometimes we need to use the window presentation (for lookups inside lookups). > Lookup Layer Search of a Varient Product > ---------------------------------------- > > Key: OFBIZ-3746 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-3746 > Project: OFBiz > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: Sam Hamilton > Assignee: Jacques Le Roux > Priority: Minor > Attachments: Screen shot 2010-04-29 at 15.39.37.png, Screen shot 2010-04-29 at 15.39.45.png, Screen shot 2010-04-29 at 15.39.57.png, Screen shot 2010-04-29 at 15.40.03.png, Screen shot 2010-04-29 at 15.40.10.png > > > If start here https://localhost:8443/catalog/control/main and click LookUp > then find all products > then click Variants button on any of the SKU - at this point the layered lookup breaks and you are now stuck in the lookup. > Screen shots attached to show in better detail what happens - tested in FF and Safari on a Mac -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online. |

For the controller request (ie the Submit Button), i have a JS Function which replaced the normal http controller request with a Ajax cntroller request. The same for the pagination.
