I'm making a few refinements for required and not required fields, etc, so you'll see some differences in it.

One general though: when doing edit forms they should be based on basis services and not the entity itself. This handles a lot of potential issues (like fields the user can't edit, additional information about them, etc) and should ALWAYS be done. The only exception is for find parameter and find results forms which are generally better based on the entity.
