How to repeat:

Go to any product in the Demo site (I used the Round Widget): http://demo.hotwaxmedia.com/ecommerce/control/product/~category_id=PROMOTIONS/~product_id=GZ-2644
Click on Be the first to review this product
Give review and click [Save]
Note the following on the result page:

The Following Occurred:

Thank you, your review was successfully submitted.

Now, go back to the Product page and note that this product has not been reviewed.

Reviews have to be approved in the product manager before they are displayed in ecommerce
