novice java download question

Hi All,

The Technical Production Setup Guide specifies downloading the (full SDK not
just JRE") SDK 1.4.2.

I found:

Java(TM) 2 SDK, Standard Edition 1.4.2_16

And. JavaTM 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 Development Kit (JDK 5.0) (which
is the 1.5.0)

And. Java(TM) SE Development Kit 6 Update 3

And. Java EE SDK 5 Update 3

Question: Which of these is the best to use for a production OFBiz
installation?

Using Linux flavor Cento 4

You definitely don't want 1.4 that doc needs to be updated.

is the recommended one.
