For "createRequirementFromItemATP" I think I'm still confused with the requirements
& all the calculaions that go into it, so I'll leave that for now...
As for associating auto requirements with facility, given your scenario, I'll
agree with you, but I think there should be an option to assoc it
to a default facility if desired.
In my case we have one facility & for user configurable products, they
have auto create requiremet set & it'd be good if it had the
facility set automatically.
One more question. When I look at requirements, I can't tell
why the requirement was generated.
*To bring back inventory to the min stock level
*To fullfill an order
*To bring back ATP to min stock level, etc, etc
How can I know the above ?
If we can't tell why a requirement was generated looking at
the requirements(currently), I think we need to put some effort towards
getting such a feature...

As to associating with a facility... Pardon me for asking this, but if
the requirement is an automatic requirement every time an order is
created, why should it be linked to a facility? If you had multiple
facilities, how would you know which facility it should be assigned to,
if all you have is an order?
