control number of products to display on page?

I am digging around trying to figure out how to configure the number of products that get displayed on the category page.  I would like to change this, but I do not see it in the store settings anywhere.

Not on store settings - each category template handles it  
differently.  I believe the parameter is VIEW_SIZE.
