Nicolas Malin (Jira)
General Ledger Imperative features
----------------------------------

                 Key: OFBIZ-1239
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-1239
             Project: OFBiz
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: accounting
            Reporter: Prashant Ganti
            Priority: Blocker

Dear OFBIZ team,

I would like to know what is the status of some imperative features in General Ledger Module.
Essentially I am looking at
1) ability to create a new Gl
2) delete a GL
3) year end process
4) Reports - a) Trial Balance b) Balance Sheet c) Profit and Loss statements d) Cash Flow
5) reconcilliation

Is there an development with regards to these features. If so what is likely release date?
Thanks in Advance

I'm going to guess that within minutes someone is going to chang this from
blocker to new feature.

If you are open to a version of the GPL license (HPL), add on modules to OFBiz
that fufill your list above exists in the Opentaps financial modules today.

Anil K Patel commented on OFBIZ-1239:
-------------------------------------

Prashant,
It will be nice if you can create Jira issues for different features you will like in Accounting, Also it will be helpful if you can add some requirement details so a Developer with no functional experience in this accounting can work on it. Other nice to have will be Steps for testing Success and failure case scenario.

Regards
Anil Patel

I don't think the contents of this issue really contain anything of value
