Is UtilCache#getNextDefaultIndex() mechanism useful
---------------------------------------------------

                 Key: OFBIZ-4099
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-4099
             Project: OFBiz
          Issue Type: Sub-task
          Components: framework
    Affects Versions: SVN trunk
            Reporter: Philippe Mouawad

Hello,
I don't understand the use of getNextDefaultIndex inside UtilCache, it seems to me a bit dangerous and useless to append to a cache name an index without the client being aware of this.

Do you know why this feature exists and if it is really useful ?

Thank you
Philippe
